In 2003, we at Lee and Li chose “We Care, We Serve, We Excel” as our guiding principle, capturing in six words the values we had been living by for decades. We were not plotting a new direction; we were honoring a tradition of excellence.

When I joined Lee and Li, it was 24 years old and had about 200 people. Now, as we celebrate our 60th anniversary, our head count has nearly quintupled. Time after time, people who are passionate about law are drawn to Lee and Li for the opportunities to serve the community and promote the rule of law, and relish building a career working alongside outstanding peers. Together, we continually redefine excellence in legal services. All the accolades we have received at home and abroad over the years have only spurred us to be more—more to our clients, more to society, and more to our employees.
